Tsulukidze Tetra is a local vine variety. It is common in Racha-Lechkhumi and gives naturally semi-sweet, table quality white wine, while in Crimea and Central Asia it produces quality cool and dessert wines. Tsulukidze Tetra is also known in Georgia as Rachuli Tetra. Tsulukidze’s white use for making table, naturally semi-sweet and dessert wines. The wine is light yellow in color, has a well-defined aroma, medium body and gentle pleasant taste. In general, Tsulukidze Tetra gives a gentle, pleasant table wine of high dignity. Naturally semi-sweet wine “Tetra” was made from it.
It is characterized by good resistance to fungal diseases, although it has a significantly lower resistance to phylloxera. The degree of ripening of the horn is good. Medium growth strength. It does not impose special requirements on the soil, but gives high quality wine on the soils of kirnar-clay and humus-carbonate located on the slopes.

WHERE IT’S GROWN AND WHAT ITS WINE TASTES LIKE
Tsulukidzis Tetra, used to make both semi – sweet and dry white wines, is found to a limited extent in Racha-Lechkhumi in north-west Georgia, particularly around the villages of Sadmeli and Chorjo. The wines are crisp, with moderate alcohol and flavours of ripe peach and pale-skinned cherry. Producers include Rachuli Wine and Bugeuli, although the former use the synonym Rachuli Tetra.
