It is a local vine variety, it is less common in Kartli region. It produces local table wine. Also used as a coupling. It is relatively more sensitive to ash, although powdery mildew is also damaging. In ancient times it was quite common in the vineyards of Gori, Kaspi and Tskhinvali districts.
