Red Budeshuri is a local, rarely common but promising vine variety, yielding good quality table grapes. Red Budeshuri is also known as Black Budeshuri. Red Budeshuri is a local vine variety, it originates from the local hearth of forms of cultivated vine varieties.
From the table grape varieties of Eastern Georgia, it is significantly distinguished by the beautiful appearance of the bunches. The wine produced from it is characterized by a harmonious taste and pleasant aroma. It belongs to the group of table varieties of medium maturity period. Horn ripening is good. Increases strength above average. Resistance to fungal diseases is satisfactory. Red budworm is characterized by medium resistance to winter frosts and drought.

ORIGINS AND PARENTAGE
Budeshuri Tsiteli probably comes from eastern Georgia. The word budeshuri refers in Georgian to the oval-shaped berries. Budeshuri should not be confused with the white – berried Budeshuri Tetri.
